1. Scope

GOST 8732 applies to seamless hot-rolled steel pipes for general engineering and structural purposes, including:

2. Ordering Information

When ordering pipes under GOST 8732, the following must be specified:

- Standard designation (e.g., GOST 8732-202X)

- Dimensions (outer diameter, wall thickness, length)

- Steel grade (e.g., St20, 09G2S, 12Х18Н10Т)

- Delivery condition (hot-rolled, heat-treated if required)

- Additional requirements (e.g., non-destructive testing, special tolerances)
